The VR-Forces front-end allows you to quickly switch between 2D and 3D views. Run multiple front-ends to support collaborative scenario development and control. Run multiple, interoperable back-ends to distribute the simulation load over multiple computers. This separation of simulation and control is a key part of VR-Forces’ power and flexibility. VR-Forces includes a CGF application comprised of two parts, a simulation engine (often called the back-end) and a graphical user interface (GUI) (often called the front-end) for creating and running simulations. VR-Forces is a powerful, scalable, flexible, and easy-to-use CGF application that does not require any additional development effort to use or configure. Bring up a 3D inset view for any entity to see the world from its perspective.Ĭapability - Powerful Simulation Engine and Simple Scenario Generation Turn on XR mode to gain a big picture understanding of your scenario, without losing your 3D perspective. You can lay down the basic outline on a 2D tactical map, and then switch to the 3D scenario editing mode to accurately position entities within a complex urban environment. VR-Forces Computer Generated Forces provides an intuitive GUI that allows you to build scenarios by positioning forces, creating routes and waypoints, and assigning tasks or plans with a simple point and click. Whether you’re modeling at the entity or aggregate level, VR-Forces can stimulate your unit’s behavior based on scenario events such as sensor detection, the crossing of tactical phase lines, or areas of interest. During scenario execution, VR-Forces vehicles and humans interact with the terrain, follow roads, move in convoys, avoid obstacles, communicate over simulated radios, detect and engage enemy forces, and calculate damage. VR-Forces comes with simulation models for hundreds of battlefield units and systems.

In addition, Paula the producer of Ear to The Ground has a great chat with Seamus Butler, a local fisherman who fished for Ireland and who plans to do workshops with Blackcastle Farm, fishing on the local Drish River and cooking and smoking the fish in Blackcastle farm. Outside we had some demonstrarion workshops going on including outdoor oven making, smoking beef and stone wall building. They filmed and interviewed our team making all our beef products and Helen interviewed us in relation to the business and our committment to sustainable farming.

The crew spent lots of time in the fields with John and the cattle and the rest of the time in our new food unit with the family and our great staff team. Sarah our daughter and her friend Mary who are both transition year students were fascinated.Īlthough the forecast was for very bad rain and storms the day turned out to be great and bright. The family spent the day with the great Ear to The Ground team and learned about filming, sound and production. The kids got to see how the production team worked. It was a very exciting day for us, the Commins family who had a great day with the crew.
